Het Rembrandthuis design by Lies Willers

Museum het Rembrandthuis in Amsterdam was completely renovated in 2023. The production of the interior was a great project for us because all departments of the factory were involved: upholstery of a bench, revising
existing furniture, building a movable desk, welding bases for glass cases and integrating lighting. Even our painter got to pretend to be Rembrandt for a day while working on location. It all came out great, even if we do say so ourselves.

Revising existing demonstration cabinets from the museum was a popular job in our woodworkshop.
We were a little hesitant when the first cut into the piece was to be made with the circular saw, but it worked out great. We integrated drawers with glass cases and screens, added extra cabinets and decorated the pieces in a way that the old and new parts blend in together seamlessly.
