Scheepvaartmuseum: Food For Thought ontwerp door Kummer & Hermann

In the exhibition Food For Thought in the Amsterdam Maritime Museum photographer and filmmaker Kadir van Lohhuizen shares his perspective on worldwide food distribution systems. The temporary exhibit is built with circular principles: The backbone of the installations are rented racks that will return to the supplier afterwards.

The numbers tell the tale: In the (Dutch) impact report below we provide insight into the origins of materials, the Co2 emissions and circularity of this production. Especially the impact of the used (new) hardware was remarkable. We also zoom in on the next life of all materials after the exhibition has ended: What can be reused as- is, what can be repurposed and what can be recycled.
